Mellody emailed us about a project she started where fans can leave letters and show support towards Demi, check believe_in_demi. We think it’s a really sweet idea and you should take a look and maybe show your support!
As this community and project are still new and are privy to some mishaps, I guess now would be as good a time as any to set up some guidelines for submissions.
1. This is a community with the intention of helping Demi Lovato in what little way we can. If you’re going to to be an asshole you can leave.
2. There is not limit to the length of a letter to Demi.
3. It would be preferred if your first name, city and state (or country if outside the US) are included in your submission, although a first name is fine.
4. If English is not your first language it is fine to write your letter in your preferred language but please also included a translated versions of your submission.
5. Submissions need to be posted here first before they are sent out. IF you do not want other people to see your submission, that is fine but pm you submission to me so that it can be sent out.
6. If you would like to include anything else with your letter like a care package, or a gift of some sort, tell us first so that we can either acquire that from you or for you.
7. Write you letters from the heart, let Demi know just how loved she is and how much she means to all of us.
8. BELIEVE IN DEMI!

J-14 just got off the phone with We The Kings’ singer Travis Clark, a good friend of Demi’s. In late 2009, Demi sang the duet “We’ll Be A Dream” with We the Kings — and Travis was quick to come to Demi’s defense.
“I speak with her frequently, so I knew [many of the rumors out there] were lies,” Travis Clark tells J-14. “It’s tough for any one of us to be in the public eye at all times. If I go missing for a day, people are like, ‘He’s entered rehab and he’s gone completely off the deep end.’ It’s a classic, ‘Don’t believe everything you hear’ story. Unfortunately there are a lot of rumors and a lot of lies out there. But in a positive way, it helps bring everybody together. People are there supporting her whether it’s real or not — they want her to know that they’re there for her whenever she needs it. It’s just about how loyal fans are.”
Travis also explains that despite hanging out with her a few times this year, he didn’t see something like this coming. “I saw her a few times while she was on the road when we were in the same cities and we’d hang out,” he says. “It was fun. We had a good time together and she was completely happy and really outgoing. She was just the Demi that I’ve always known and it was totally normal. So that’s why I know it’s not a severe issue. It’s been blown out of proportion and that can really wear on anybody.”

First of all we’re sorry for being late on this update but our internet didn’t work all day long. As you may know by now Demi’s back in Texas and she has to sort out some issues, we don’t want to put in words like all those gossip sites did so we’re just telling you she’s safe and she’ll be back when she feels better. Demi doesn’t deserve this, she’s an amazing human being, a beyond extremly talented young girl that is maybe too sweet and kind to others in our opinion. She always wants the best for people and tries her best to make everyone happy by always putting everyone before her. It just unfair and extremly sad that she has to deal with this cold hearted haters that don’t even know her, we’ve read some of their comments and they’re so mean and they hurt so much. We have to ask, what’s the point in all of this? Why people enjoy hurting someone else’s feelings? Do they feel good about themselves making innocent young lives miserable? Just because they’re hugely talented and the’re getting the success they deserve (in Demi’s case she deserves even more) that means you out there are entitled to throw their lives into a trash can just for the joy of it? Put yourself in their shoes, not the success part but the irrational hate you’d be forced to deal with. It’s just too much. She has so much amazing things awaiting her in the future, we believe after this she’ll come back even stronger. We’re really heartbroken over this since we feel Demi close to our hearts and she means so much too us as if she was family.
Lastly we just want to invite everyone to keep Demi in their hearts and support her unconditionally so she can fight whatever obstacle may come her way. We LOVE you Demi and we’ll always be here for you!

Anne Marie & Erin from Parade.com were really nice and sent us an email letting us know they just posted a really cute interview they had with Demi a few weeks back:
Demi Lovato has inspired millions of kids to go for their dreams as one of Disney’s most popular young stars. Now, the 18-year-old is speaking out against teen bullying. Lovato revealed that she, too, was a victim of teen bullying and has lent her voice to the PACER Center’s “Teens Against Bullying” campaign.
People say sticks and stones may break your bones, but names can never hurt you, but that’s not true,” she wrote on PACER’s “Teens Against Bulling” Web site. “Words can hurt. They hurt me. Things were said to me that I still haven’t forgotten.
Putting a stop to teen bullying.
I’m so lucky to work with the organizations I’m involved with and, honestly, giving back is one of the most rewarding aspects of my career. If you can touch just one life, it’s all worth it. I’ve partnered with PACER’s ‘Teens Against Bullying’ for years and it’s a great place where you can find tips and helpful information on bullying and what you can do to stop it. I’m confident that together we can make a difference.
Head to Parade.com to read the rest of the article. We also added the photo they used for the article to the Gallery that actually is a backstage photo of Demi in the recording studio for Disney’s Sing It Party Hits and a few psoters! She looks gorgeous!

Just wanted to wish everyone Happy Halloween. Halloween is one of our favourite holidays but this year is particulary sad and heartbreaking, we’re so dissapointed no one took time from the Jonas Brothers to Demi’s Managment to let us fans know what’s going on. We’re really worried just because no one give us an explination.Yesterday we were sure Demi’s just fine and we still believe she is but we’re not that sure anymore, we expected that Disney or someone to release an official statement explaining the situation. by now. We found a few statements but we’re not 100% sure that they’re attendable. All we can do is wait and pray that everything is fine and that Demi will be ok and nothing serious is going on. We ℒℴѵℯ Demi!
