Fans, stand up and make your vote count! MTV’s “Last Fans Standing” tournament is under way, and it’s heating up fast. With some of the biggest pop stars’ fan armies all competing to be the ultimate fan group on the planet, now’s the time to root for your team. Voting is going on right now on MTV’s Facebook page, and Demi Lovato’s Lovatics are currently in first place, having shared her photo more than any other fan group. It will all culminate Wednesday during MTV’s “The Big & Best of 2012″ live stream. Once the top 16 is narrowed down, additional rounds will take place live during the year-end celebration.
As of press time, the competition was getting stiff after voting kicked off last Wednesday. After some late-night sharing, the Lovatics have managed to overtake Lady Gaga and her Little Monsters, sitting in first place with 232,957 shares ahead of Monsters’ 224,882 shares. But Team Britney are making their voices heard with 141,374 photo shares.
