Demi Lovato’s fans shouldn’t expect to hear the Remember December singer’s new album anytime soon, as the Camp Rock star doesn’t want to “rush” releasing it.
“I’m just writing it right now,” Demi said of her third record – the follow-up to 2009′s Here We Go Again.
“When I went into it I totally wanted to do something completely different. Then I started straying back to where I was going, so I don’t know. “But I definitely want it to be more mature than the last record.”
Demi added: “All of my records have been kind of rushed. This one I’m really taking the time with and not putting it out after month of making it.”
Lovato – who turns 18 next month (August 20) – has recorded a Spanish song for the album. She also promised not to change her image too much when the record is released.

I absolutely cannot wait for this next album!! It’s no question Dem will blow us all away but im a bit dissapointed it won’t be released any time soon. I completely agree with Ryan when he says this album will give Dem the recognition she’s done more than deserve. This new R&B transition is what will give fans a whole new outlook on Dem and show how truly amazing her voice can be:) #1 on the charts baby, i just know it!! :D
Im so giddy with excitement right now!! Has anyone looked at what Dem tweeted lately?! She mentioned DLD.com!! We’ve never had this many fans online before. Congratz Deea&Gabrielle, your hard work and dedication has payed off:) i’m so happy for you guys. You’ve done so much to deserve this recognition and should be very proud:) you’ve made Dem’s day!! What Demi will come up with to put on her 3rd album will be well worth the wait… & then some. I already knew that w/ Album #3, it would be the one that she really puts her all into, takes the time to put songs on it that she feels best represent her growth as both a singer/songwriter/musician & as a young woman. I think the R&B style of music D’s going for will be that similar to 2 other very beautiful, talented ladies (who also happen to be favorites of mine), Ms. Joanna “JoJo” Levesque & Ms. Kristinia DeBarge. As well, her voice being as powerful, beautiful, & soulful as it is, I think will suit this transition from Rock into R&B. She has the voice really to do any genre, but R&B is where I think her voice & talent will truly shine.
D discussing the emphasis this new album will have on her image is what I expected to hear from her. There will be a change, but it won’t be one that will shock her fans or others alike, instead it’ll show her transition from girl to woman. It won’t be anything along the lines of what you’ve seen here recently w/ Miley, Christina, or any of the others out there who have used their sexuality & shock value to push their new albums. With D, it’ll be as she said, “Mature, but with class.”
In closing, all I will say is this: “The world hasn’t even begun to see the full potential of Ms. Demi Lovato.” With her 3rd album, that will come full circle.

I think its great that she’s putting a song in Espanol on her album! Going the classy way always works. Miley tried to be sexy and her album has only been released for 4 weeks and is #25 on the charts(which is bad) The Ecilspe soundtrack is doing better! I think that Demi has sucessfully morphed into a young adult. Her fans don’t feel ofended by her change, like most of MIley’s old fans. CAn’t wait for the next album. I’m expecting lighter colors than the black,red and white of “Don’t forget” and the black and fushia of “here we go again” I’m guessing there will be some blue, she seems to like blue. What do Y’all think? ;)
