When Demi Lovato’s next album comes out, she has no plans to take Miley Cyrus’ untamed approach, and she won’t be ditching her squeaky-clean Disney sheen.
“I don’t think it’s going to change my image, not drastically,” the singer told us at VH1′s Do Something Awards about her third album. “It’s going to be what you’re seeing of me right now. It’s going to be very Demi.” The Camp Rock actress, who turns 18 next month, did say… “It’s more mature,” she explained. “It’s definitely grown up, but in a classy way.”
The Teen Choice-nominee, who guest starred on an episode of Grey’s Anatomy in May, also told us she’d love to make a return to ABC’s hit medical drama.
“I’d be there in a second,” she said. “I would come back as a doctor if I could.”

I’m excited for her next album! But Demi needs to be easier on herself. She just Tweeted that she’s in Pain from working out! If she hurts so badly, then she shouldn’t work out so much. She says she’s confident, but then runs 6 miles evey other day! She needs to cut her mind and body some slack! I love how she mentioned she would mature in a classy way. Becuase wearing less clothing doesn’t make you any more of an adult!

This is going to be a fantastic album + with her going more for an R&B sound on this one, I’m looking even more forward to it. Mature, but classy certainly sounds like D to me. Plus, she stated that this one would be more her & it’s going to change her or her image. As well, I say this will be the album that gets her the recognition she’s done more than deserve, be her best yet.. topping both Don’t Forget & Here We Go Again. This is only the start of great things to come for D, her life, & her career.
